Justice League Logo Revealed and Multiple DCEU Details Announced

As promised, a large string of Justice League news has been announced, including a new logo, synopsis and details about characters.

Firstly, the logo. Zack and Deborah Snyder revealed the first look at the Justice League movie logo. Interesting to note is the star between the I and the C. This could mean that Wonder Woman will play a large part in the movie, making me think that Wonder Woman could lead the DCEU's Justice League.
This is supported by the synopsis which reads as follows:

"Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.  Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.  But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, this marks the big screen debut of the Justice League, featuring an all-star lineup: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher."

The assault mentioned above will most likely be from the DC Villain Steppenwolf, who earlier today was confirmed to be the villain of the first Justice League movie. Steppenwolf will no doubt pave the way for Darkseid, his uncle, and all of the classic Darkseid V Justice League stories in the comics. Zack Snyder also confirmed that both movies were intended to be seperate films, and not be split into two parts, from the start.
We also recieved confirmation on the role of Willem Dafoe in the Justice League and Aquaman movies. He will in fact be portraying Nuidis Vulko, Aquaman's advisor and friend. He has a rich history in the comic with Aquaman, even taking control of Atlantis in Aquaman's absence and also leading a rebellion against Aquaman in more recent times

Finally, Ben Affleck was also on set, and confirmed a number of things. He confirmed that his solo Batman movie will not be filmed until he is 100% happy with his script, and that he is prepared for that to take as long as necessary. He also revealed that he will be putting an emphasis on the "World's Greatest Detective" parts of Batman's characters. These will both come as reassuring news for fans of the character, who were unhappy with the rushed feel to Batman V Superman. He also told those there that Batman V Superman will be the darkest the DCEU gets, and that Justice League will have a much lighter tone. Again, those who disliked Batman V Superman will be happy to hear of this.

This announcement was a large amount of information to drop at once, and now with only 5 weeks until Suicide Squad releases, the DC PR team will no doubt be trying to focus attention on Suicide Squad and denouncing fears from fans of the DCEU and movies.

Suicide Squad releases August 5th 2016; Wonder Woman is scheduled to release June 2nd 2017; Justice League is scheduled to release November 17 2017; Aquaman is scheduled to release July 17 2018; There is currently no release date for Ben Affleck's Batman movie.

Major Justice League News To Be Announced

Several journalists were flown to Warner Brothers HQ yesterday, leading many to speculate that there will be a major announcement regarding an upcoming project. This was confirmed earlier when a journalist stated that a major Justice League announcement would be arriving at approximately 4:00 today GMT. It's interesting however that this announcement was made so soon after Justice League was confirmed to be coming to San Diego Comic-Con.
As to what the announcement will concern, I would speculate at a full line-up reveal or reveal of a character like the Flash/Green Lantern in costume. This would give DC some considerable hype going into SDCC, where they could announce or reveal something larger.

Justice League is due to be released November 17, 2017, San Diego Comic Con 2016 takes place from July 21–24
